In an increasingly digital working world, personal interactions are more valuable than ever. For Würth Finance International B.V., the global treasury of the Würth Group, customer visits are far more than routine — they are the key to building strong relationships, fostering trust, and developing a deep understanding of the needs of Würth companies.
After a longer break, an early summer visit took place in Spain. Alongside representatives from various departments, Thomas Isenrich, Head Treasury Services, was also on site. The focus was on direct dialogue with local contacts from finance and procurement — open, collaborative, and on equal footing.
The discussions initially centered on business development, planned investments, and current financing and liquidity topics. Building on this, specific optimization potential in cash management, payment transactions, and collaboration with local banks was explored. In addition, further value-added services such as dynamic discounting, supplier monitoring, benchmark reports, and payment solutions for e-commerce were addressed — always with the aim of demonstrating how Würth Finance International B.V. can support Würth companies in an even more targeted, efficient, and practical way.
“Nothing replaces personal conversation,” as Thomas Isenrich succinctly puts it. “On site, we don’t just develop solutions for current issues, we also pick up on nuances, better understand perspectives, and develop a shared view.”
It is precisely these direct insights that make the difference: processes, priorities, and challenges become tangible, and new ideas often emerge incidentally. Informal exchange also plays a role — whether over a shared lunch or a relaxed dinner.
“We experienced the visit to Spain as very enriching. It provided valuable impulses for future collaboration. A step closer to achieving even greater success together,” says Thomas Isenrich.
