MANAGEMENT LEVELS

 

Supervisory Board:

The Supervisory Board presides over the Familienstiftungen (private family trusts established according to German law) that make up the owners of the Würth Group. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group is Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth.

 

Advisory Board:

The Advisory Board is the Würth Group's highest monitoring and control body. It advises on issues surrounding the corporate strategy and approves corporate planning and the use of financial resources. It appoints members of the Central Management Board, division heads and managing directors of the largest companies by sales.

 

Central Management Board:

The Central Management Board is the supreme decision-making body of the Würth Group. It is composed of four members and resembles the board of management in a group holding. Its main responsibilities include strategic corporate planning, the selection of management staff and the management of strategic business units and functional areas.

 

Division Management:

The division heads report to the Central Management Board and are responsible for their own divisions, which may comprise more than one Group company.
