COMPLIANCE

Mutual trust, predictability, honesty, and straightforwardness, both inside and outside the company, are the fundamental principles of the Würth Group. Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhold Würth laid these values down in the Würth Group’s corporate philosophy back in the 1970s. These values have remained the basis for how we interact with our customers, suppliers, and other business partners to this day.

Code of Compliance

The Würth Group’s Code of Compliance not only stipulates compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, it also provides employees with a mindset that is an essential building block of the sustained corporate success of the Würth Group.

The Würth Group supports this inner mindset. With the Code of Compliance, the Würth Group requires all its employees to adhere to all applicable national and international laws and regulations. To make these principles more transparent, not only for the employees, but also for customers, suppliers, and other business partners, the Würth Group has developed practical rules of conduct based on its corporate values, summarized in the Würth Group’s Code of Compliance. The Code of Compliance contains minimum requirements that must be observed by all employees of the Würth Group worldwide. Every employee therefore has to be familiar with the Code of Compliance and commit to the fundamental principles and rules of conduct contained therein. The management bodies and executives of all Group companies bear a special responsibility as they have a role model function.

The Code of Compliance is supported by the firm conviction of the Würth family, the Supervisory Board, the Advisory Board, and the Central Management Board of the Würth Group that a living compliance culture constitutes an integral part of the Würth Group’s sustained success.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Complying with current legislation is a matter of course for the Würth Group. We set great store by certain values that govern our dealings with each other and with our business partners. Würth’s Supplier Code of Conduct specifies binding minimum requirements that all our suppliers have to implement and comply with. In the main, Würth’s Supplier Code of Conduct is based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the principles laid down in internationally accepted standards of responsible company governance. These include the UN Global Compact, the fundamental principles at work of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development.
Würth Finance International B.V. adheres to the Würth Group's compliance management system and expects its business partners to adhere to the same standards as a minimum.
