SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Special Olympics is the largest international sports organization for people with a mental disability or multiple disabilities. More than 3 million children, young adults and grown-ups from over 150 nations train and take part in international competitions. The Special Olympics philosophy is very straightforward: to increase the self-confidence and acceptance of people with a mental disability in society by way of sports.

Special Olympics is the only organization that was authorized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to use the term "Olympics" internationally. Würth supports this movement in many countries.
