Financial risk management is one of Würth Finance International B.V.’s main activities. As the Würth Group’s competence centre, Würth Finance is responsible for measuring, controlling and monitoring the financial risks arising from the Würth Group’s basic operational business.

 

In its function as the financing unit, Würth Finance International B.V. controls the Würth Group’s liquidity risks. It thus guarantees the safe investment of available funds and the solvency of the Würth Group at all times.

 

The Würth Group’s interest risks are managed at group level using a modern asset and liability management system (ALM). Risks are hedged through the use of derivative financial instruments.

 

The group companies are also offered various hedging instruments for hedging currency risk in foreign exchange transactions and thus protecting operating results.
